Digital Marketing & Content Manager

About the Position:
This role is for the Director of Digital Marketing & Content. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping our rapidly growing marketing and outreach efforts.  We're looking for a high energy, passionate candidate with exceptional marketing strategy, communication, project and people management skills.
 
The role will be focused on leading our member engagement and potential member marketing outreach – handling the full scope of society marketing including strategy, story telling, PR, thought leadership, research, and events. 
 
This role reports to our Executive Director.
 
Responsibilities include:

Architect strategy to position HonorSociety.org in the forefront of the collegiate academic world. 
Develop marketing material, web page content, e-mails, newsletters, decks and other marketing tools to empower the organization and executive team to clearly and persuasively communicate HonorSociety.org’s benefits for students.
Develop research strategy to continually position HonorSociety.org as leader in student recognition and empowerment; partner with internal and external teams to deliver compelling insights from qualitative and quantitative research/analytics
Develop thought leadership strategy to create consistent drum beat in media world regarding HonorSociety.org’s leadership in student recognition.
Partner with internal and external members to establish and execute industry leading public relations effort including aggressive social activation.
Develop go to market strategies and execution through highly scalable direct communication channels such as webinars, webcasts and web presence;
Develop and execute appropriate events strategy
Extend all marketing efforts through social media channels;
Manage a team of marketing professionals.


Skills:

BA or BS degree.
Experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments and with sales teams as a key stakeholder.
Well-rounded experience across all marketing channels and levers – from storytelling to scaled communications to event execution and member engagement.
A passion for results and for applying a quantitative approach to marketing.
Social media experience a plus. 
Good understanding of quantitative and qualitative research.
Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
Experience with senior management.
Prior people management experience.
