The HS Ambassador Program is an exclusive campus rep program for students who excel academically, consider themselves leaders and influencers on campus, and are eager to gain real-life experience for a career in marketing, journalism, advertising, public relations, digital media, or entrepreneurship.
What does an HS Ambassador do?
The HS Ambassador will spread the message of Honor Society on campus and on social media. HS Ambassadors are encouraged to use their passion and skills to get the word out (ex. blogging, videography, photography, etc.)
Each month, HS Ambassadors will be given a theme to focus on and an opportunity to gain real-life work experience. These themes include social media, interviews, writing articles, pitching to the school paper, and community building activities.
HS Ambassadors will be well-prepared to take on these projects through resources and mentorship from the Honor Society National Office.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for students who are already leaders and influencers on campus who excel academically and are career-oriented.
An HS Ambassador should be eager to share with students why being a part of Honor Society is not only going to help them in their academics, but also professionally.
We are especially looking for students who will be pursuing a career in marketing, journalism, advertising, public relations, digital media, or entrepreneurship as the duties align with the real world experience in these positions.
HS Ambassadors should also be enthusiastic about being a part of their university’s campus and eager to connect with other students.
We also ask that all HS Ambassadors can agree to a two semester commitment of the HS Ambassador program of about 4 hours a week (that’s just 1 hour every other day!)
